Caramel ice cream

Make your own caramel!



Ingredients for 3 dishes
500 ml Viana Soactiv+Calcium (soy milk)
5 tbsp thickened fruit juice



1. Heat the thickened fruit juice whilst stirring in a large saucepan at low heat. Take care that the juice turns golden brown but not too dark, then take the saucepan off the stove. :-)

2. Slowly pour the soy milk into the saucepan, stirring at the same time. Slowly heat and stir until the caramel completely dissolves in the milk.

3. Fill the caramel ice cream in a shallow bowl and put it in the refrigerator. Once cooled to refrigerator temperature freeze the mixture in the freezer for 2-3 hours, stirring at least once an hour. An ice cream machine will make the ice cream even creamier.
